Last Week, Tuesday the year 8’s went to Ngaruawahia. It was a pleasure going to Ngaruawahia Christian Youth for our final Year 8 camp. Three nights and four days is how long we got to stay there for.
We had a variety of activities and our first activity was a hike walk. Walking for about one hour my legs were aching and I was boiling hot I couldn’t walk anymore I thought to myself. It felt like I had been walking for a day or more.
It was our last day so we spent our time wisely at Waingaro Hot Springs. There were hot pools more hot pools and waterslides. And first I headed off to the ultimate water-slide, it was awesome and I had a great time.
Things I liked about camp was everything but mostly to me was that we were all together as one. Things I didn’t like was the horrible weather and the early fitness workout.
